I’ve been a Christian for a few years now and for me ,that means accepting Jesus as my Lord and saviour. This view has radically shaped how I live my life.
The highs and lows of being a footballer left me constantly unstable. I lived for a win and really completely lost my peace after defeat. Since deciding to follow Jesus, I’ve been to deal with the highs and lows of football differently.
God is now my strength and my rock in the midst of all my uncertainties: the outcome of a match, the unexpected injuries and my performance. I now know that whatever happens I can trust in Him.
He has truly blessed my life and I give Him the glory for all of my success.
I’m learning so much about walking a life of faith with my brothers in Ballers In God. They help me to keep in mind God’s purpose for my life. I really appreciate knowing that I’m not alone on this journey and that my ’BIG’ brothers are behind me all the way.
